Real Time Vision based Approaches for Eye Tracking, Head Pose and Gaze Estimation

Abstract
Over past few decades there are lot of developments in gaze estimation techniques and its application to Human Computer Interaction. Lot of diversity exists in this field of research that effect practical usability of the system. This paper provides realistic overview and analysis of vision based eye gaze research and its outcome. Various vision based methods are classified and the real time performance issues for existing gaze tracking systems is provided. This study also highlight that a low cost standardize method for gaze tracking systems is required to be developed to implement efficient vision based gaze tracking system.
