A Comparative Assessment On Techniques Of Automated Dynamic Malware Analysis
Abstract
Malware is a combination of the word malicious and software. It has become a major intimidation in the internet
today, so Antivirus vendors are confronted with a creation of malware samples. The prologue of new malware samples
everyday is not uncommon. The malware designed by the attackers have the ability to change as they propagate. Moreover,
the diversity and volume of their variants severely affects the traditional defenses that use signature based techniques.
In this paper a literature work on the automated dynamic malware analysis is carried which is useful in the detection of
malware. The tools and techniques required for the analysis process are mentioned by clearly depicting the characteristics,
advantages and disadvantages.
