ECG Signal Processing by Savitzky Golay Least- Square Polynomial Filter

Abstract
Savitzky Golay filters are mainly used for smoothening and for differentiating entity in many fields. As they have exceptional features so used in ECG signal processing which is a emerging field now a days. In this research paper an investigation of their characteristics in detail from ECG signal processing aspect. In this paper filters from 3-25 polynomial order are considered. The filtering impact and to retain small details.ECG signal of 500 Hz is taken. The best choice is of use 15th order polynomial for ECG filtering with preserving minute amplitude details.
