A Web Solution for Constructing a Smart Monitoring System

Abstract
Smart Farming represents the application of modern Information and the Internet of Things (IoT) into agriculture. Smart Farming has a real potential to deliver a more productive and sustainable agricultural production, based on a more precise and resource-efficient approach. This paper has just taken the first step towards a smart farming system that is focused on making farming easier, more interesting, and more environmentally friendly. The smart farming system is currently being developed with IoT and PLC technologies for a greenhouse, resulting in a web application and automated environmental control for disseminating and making easier the use of smart farming technologies.
