Competency of Agile Frameworks in Fleet-Footed World of Software Development and Comparative Analysis of Agile Frameworks

Abstract
As different industries are evolving and complexity of their projects are growing, the importance of project management is also growing. Project management is a methodology to achieve project requirements in an effective and efficient manner. Regardless of the industry, project management has proven to be very pivotal factor for success of an organization. Broadly the approach of project management for the system development can be divided into two categories – traditional waterfall and agile. Traditional waterfall approach focuses on sequential implementation of project. Agile focuses on iterative and incremental product development. In recent time the product lifecycle in organization has shortened and agile is an approach which serves well to this situation. Agile works well in the sectors where requirements are continuously changing. Agile can be implemented using various frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP (Extreme Programming). etc. This paper aims to enable the users with enough information to compare and choose the appropriate framework for the nature of their project for which they are responsible.
