Paper Title
Using Blockchain to Manage Air Cargo Security

Abstract
This paper provides a blockchain technology platform that makes transporting lithium batteries as air cargo safer. By analyzing the needs of different stakeholders along the lithium battery supply chain, we develop a blockchain platform that can manage the transactions between various parties. As blockchains are tamper-proof and embed manufacturing and transaction information in very secure blocks, they are a feasible solution to some air cargo safety issues. A blockchain system can regulate a supply chain by integrating the data of lithium battery manufacturers, logistics companies, airlines, and other key stakeholders, safeguarding the interests of all parties. It is hoped that this blockchain solution will play an active role in the aviation industry and the battery industry, providing a safer ecosystem in this ever changing e-business context.
