My People: A Real-time Manpower Planning Resources and Control System for Production Process Lines in Manufacturing Companies

Abstract
Today, all areas in our lives are becoming modernized; they used modern technologies to make their transaction fast, easy, and accurate to avoid waste of time not sacrificing reliability, accuracy, consistency, and efficiency. In this research, the researchers will deploy a manpower resource monitoring system for production process lines specifically at Japan Tobacco International (JTI) that will improve their current production staffing system. The system keeps and maintain records of production staff daily production line assignment and minimize the time on the manual job. The researcher used different methods and techniques such as descriptive method and system analysis and design with a unified process on processing their data. Based on the result of the study, it shows that Japan Tobacco International has now a dependable manpower resource monitoring system that provides a real-time and compact visualization board that minimizes the time on manual job of choosing who will be the responsible person per manufacturing lines before the start of production.
