Paper Title
Designing a Framework for Monitoring, Control and Distribution of Irrigation Water for Paddy

Abstract
Abstract - This research was conducted in response to the current issues encountered in the irrigation systems of National Irrigation Administration in Camarines Norte. This study aimed to build an architectural framework for monitoring, control and distribution of irrigation water for paddy. In this study, the researcher used qualitative approach applying focus group discussion. The system methodology used in developing the architectural frame work were Literature review, Flowcharting and Block diagram. Respondents were selected using purposive sampling. The selected participants participated in the focus group discussion thru online meeting. An in-depth informal interview with the respondents was also facilitated to gather more information needed in building an architectural framework. Based on the result of this study, it was found out that there are several issues concerning the irrigation systems for paddy such as insufficient water supply, unsuitable designs, and difficulties in operation and maintenance which lead to poor performance of monitoring, controlling and distribution of water. An architectural framework for monitoring, control and distribution of irrigation water for paddy was developed to further enhance the irrigation systems.
