<strong>Abstract</strong><br>
Internet of Things (IoT) technology is an emerging concept which presents a connected world with billions of
objects, people or devices. Huge amount of data and traffic delivered from these objects makes security and privacy
mechanisms necessary. Besides, analysis of the requirements for security and privacy aspects is important to prevent system
failures and provide quality of service. In this study, architecture and typical applications of IoT, and an overview of security
and privacy concerns are presented.
