Paper Title
Research of Field-Emission Properties of Flat Field Emission Cathodes Based on Graphite Foils

Abstract
One of the urgent tasks of modern electronics is the development and creation of field emission cathodes that work stably for a long time in conditions of high technical vacuum (10-7-10-6 Tor), which is typical for sealed devices. The advantages of field-electronic emitters compared to traditional incandescent and other types of sources of free electrons include the absence of glow, high current density, resistance to temperature fluctuations, low sensitivity to external radiation, inertia, exponentially high slope of the current-voltage characteristics, a narrow range of energy distribution of emitted electrons. Keywords - Field Electron Emission, Carbon Foils, Carbon Materials, Field Emission Cathode, Ring Effect.
